With Thanksgiving next week, it’s hard to think what to be thankful with the way 2020 has been. We’ve been dealing with COVID, elections, and who knows what else. 2020 hasn’t been the best year it seems.
Even in these crazy times, we still have a lot to be thankful for. We live in a great country even with its flaws. We have freedoms other countries don’t have. We can freely worship. We have breathe in our We are alive.
When I was in Fort Worth, I decided to give a homeless man some food. I told him to meet me at Whataburger that was right there on the corner. I bought him food and sat and ate with him. We talked for a few minutes. He told me he had lung problems and could die any day. He said every day he wakes up he thanks God for another day. He was thankful for breathe in his That struck me.
