It Is What Makes America Great

This past week has demonstrated the greatness of America’s freedom. Protests against brutality the police brought down on an individual. Freedom to protest, to speak out freely against what one thinks is wrong is one of the fundamental rights of our American way of life. Alongside protests are reporters telling the story for the rest of the country, world to know and understand.

Freedom of speech, Freedom of the press, Freedom to assemble, and Freedom to petition the government about grievances all are a part of the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. In that First Amendment and before the afore mentioned freedoms is the freedom of religion. First is for the people to be free to exercise their religion. Religious Freedom allows and nourishes a since of responsibility as well as respect for all persons, or should.
