Insurance, don’t want it, hope I don’t need it but can’t do without it. I have life insurance but will never use a penny myself. I will just pay off those for whom money is owed. Car insurance is required by law, so I have the minimum, or if needed to cover a debt owned for a motor vehicle, more. Health insurance I have not just because it is, again, required by law but it could come in handy if I get really sick or injured doing something stupid. I probably have some other insurance for something else I may or may not need and need insurance where I don’t have it.

I have several friends that are insurance agents, just like I have relatives that are lawyers, they are not all bad. Not all insurance companies are bad and most probably started out filling a need to help people in times of disaster or struggle. You need to see your agent regularly for a complete check up.
