Video Games

SAS Editorial

After the horrific shootings that took place last week, some politicians, including President Trump, quickly blamed video games. This has always been the go to argument for the cause of shootings. However, after many studies there seems to be no correlation between violent aggression and video games. As someone who has played video games for a long time, I can honestly say I haven’t had any violent tendencies. I think I turned out alright.

Parents should also pay attention to what their children are playing. There are game ratings for a reason. You probably wouldn’t let a 13 year old watch an R rated movie. Mature rated video games shouldn’t be any different. You should also let your kids go outside and do things other than play video games.
