What Class Are You?

I propose to you a concept that has been around since the first government took control of it’s subjects. I offer you the concept of “classism.” We have race, gender, and economic bias embedded in our society as familiar aspects. Could it possibly be we are more tainted with a class bias rather than these others? Should we be just as aware of the way we view others, not just as people of color, sexual identity or preference, but as how we view the class or caste of person they may be?

America has never be viewed as a classed country and maybe that’s why the rest of the world wants to come to here. “All people are created equal…” However, could it be that we are hiding behind the nomenclature of racism and other ism’s we like to taunt? Perhaps we are too ashamed to admit our biased classism. Maybe there is systemic classism deep within our society.
