$54 Million in Kickbacks

Yet another scammer thought he would get away with his crimes. In a recent case, a thief was convicted for his part in a large compounded prescription drug ring, with kickbacks and bribes that included money, dinners and hunting trips.

Dr. John M. Farrior and Dr. J. Y. Perdue

John M. Farrior was born on February 13, 1827, in Tennessee to Needham Bryan Farrior (1796-1872) and Barbara Heston Neville (18031870). John was in Hampton by 1852. He was appointed to the town council when Hampton was incorporated on January 27, 1853. In 1860 the Census shows Dr. Farrior and his wife Martha living in Hampton and Dr. Perdue, age 25, a physician from Tennessee living in Hampton at the Black Hotel.

Watching the news can be frustrating sometimes. All the senseless violence and stupidity of criminals. Then there are idiots, yes it's true, in the government running things they are clueless about. But, sometimes there are some funny things that, though frustratingly sad, are just ironically funny.
