2017 Hampton High School Class To Graduate Friday, Seven Honor Graduates Announced

46 seniors will participate during graduation exercises at Hampton High School on Friday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the School Gymnasium. Amone’ Andujar, Senior Class President will give the welcome on behalf of the class. The invocation will be given by Savannah Means. Class valedictorian, Emily Harrell and the class salutatorian, Shalexis Shelton will address the class. Mr. Bryan Sanders, Principal, will recognize scholarship recipients, followed by the presentation of the class by Mr. Jimmy Cunningham, Superintendent of Hampton Schools. Diplomas will be awarded by Mr. Alan Ferguson, President of the Hampton School Board of Education.
 
Emily Harrell, daughter of Tom and Sonya Harrell, is the class valedictorian with a grade point average of 4.1379. While attending Hampton High School, Emily has been a four year member of Future Business Leaders of America. During this time, she served as District President, State Vice- President and was a 2016-2017 National Business Law Competitor. Emily was a three year BETA Club member serving as Treasurer during her senior year. She was a two year Bulldog Buddy and a three year member of the Women of Wisdom. Emily served as Student Activities Director of the Student Council her senior year.
