Attempted Murder Suspect Turns Self In, Multiple Drug Arrests Made

On January 20, 2020 at 2:45am, the Calhoun County Dispatch received a BOLO message from the Ouachita County Sheriff’s Office. The BOLO was for Kobe Miller, who was wanted for two counts of Attempted Murder and Aggravated Robbery in connection with an incident that happened at the Dollar General in Bearden. At 9:30am, Miller walked into the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and spoke to Dispatcher Maranda Rusk requesting to speak with an officer. Deputy Drew Reynolds was in the Patrol Office. Rusk advised Reynolds of the BOLO on Miller, and that he was in the lobby waiting to speak with an officer. Reynolds then made contact with Miller, and identified him as the suspect in the BOLO. Miller was then searched, and taken into the booking room. Ouachita County Sheriff’s Office was notified of Miller being in custody at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office. Miller was picked up and transported by OCSO.
