Calhoun County Library to Host Virtual Summer Reading Program
Since we won’t be able to host our usual in-person summer reading activities this year, Calhoun County Library will be providing a takehome and virtual Summer Reading Program. Beginning on June 22, packets containing a 4-week set of crafts, activities, and programs will be available for pick-up at the library during regular business hours. The packets will contain weekly envelopes with all supplies for 1-2 crafts and instructions for participating in a virtual program with library staff, either at a designated time or on your own schedule. Parents will soon be able to sign their children up for summer reading using the ReadSquared program generously provided by the Arkansas State Library - a fantastic online resource that will allow you to track your reading and share it with us. Stay tuned to our Facebook page (@CalCoLibrary) and our website (www.calcolibrary.com) for more information! We will miss seeing all your happy faces in person all summer long!
