COVID Update

Even though the Republicans and the Democrats are 2 Trillion dollars apart in their stimulus plans for the next relief bill it is increasingly likely some compromise will happen. Both sides want stimulus checks sent to individuals again and the likely amount will be $1,200 per individual plus some for dependents. Last time, dependents 17 years old or older were not eligible for a payment, but there is a lot of push to include more of them in the next payment.

The new bill will probably also contain tax breaks to cover the cost of businesses to alter space to increase their ability to promote social distancing. There may be more Payroll Protection Program loans and other incentives to help people to stay employed.
