First Positive Case in Calhoun

According to the Arkansas Department of Health, Calhoun County has two confirmed positive cases. One of the positive cases was not tested at Cabun Rural Health Services in Hampton. The other positive case was tested by Cabun.
Melanie Shepherd, CEO of Cabun, told the South Arkansas Sun between 130 to 140 people were tested last week and only one came back positive. The rest of the results came back negative. She said she feels the county is in good shape so far. However, Cabun is still waiting for a few more tests to come back. Shepherd said Cabun is testing on a daily basis. Children and adults have been tested.
