Flu Outbreak Closes School for Friday

On Wednesday afternoon, the Hampton School District posted on Facebook due to the recent flu outbreak at Hampton Elementary and High Schools, the schools will be closed on Friday, January 17. Students will us their AMI packet.
According to the Arkansas Department of Health, Calhoun County has 3.15% of students absent because of flu. Neighboring counties Union County has 4.58% of students absent, Ouachita County has 5.54% of students absent, and Dallas County has 4.92% of students absent. Students will go back to school on Tuesday, January 21.
