Hampton School District Guidelines for School Year

The first day of school is scheduled to start on Monday, August 24. With COVID-19, the upcoming school year will look different than previous years. Hampton Superintendent Doug Worley told the Hampton School Board they will follow the guidelines provided by the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention(CDC), Arkansas Department of Health(ADH), and the Arkansas Department of Education(ADE). It is important to note that all guidelines are subject to change.

Face masks, or face shields, are required by the state of Arkansas when social distancing is not possible. This involves students and faculty as well. Students under the age of 10 do not have to wear a mask. Students are required to wear a mask when in the hallway between classes. There will be no loitering allowed. Parents and visitors will get their temperature check when they come in and masks must be worn in the building.
