Hampton School District Renames Agriculture Building
The Hampton School Board approved a proposal by board member Alan Ferguson to rename the agriculture building to David Grimm Agriculture Building in honor of the late David Grimm. Grimm was a teacher at Hampton High School for many years. Ferguson asked the board to rename the building and it was approved unanimously.
All Hampton school employees will receive a $1,000 bonus. Student workers will recieve a $250 bonus. Hampton Superintendent Jimmy Cunningham said the bonuses were part of the budget set at the beginning of the year.
