Harrell Rebuilds After Heavy Storm

After the heavy storm on the night of Wednesday, June 19 the town of Harrell has slowly started to rebuild. Harrell Mayor Terry Anders said they have started to clean up the storm damage in town but there is still a long way to go.

Many have given their time and effort to rebuild the community.

At the city park in Harrell, major clean up has taken place. Limbs and branches that were once scattered across the area have been set into piles. The city park is not to be used at this time until the clean up has been completed.

The pavilion at the park was heavily damaged. It’s been used many times since its construction. Anders said the stage pavilion will be rebuilt. The plan is to have it open for the Fall festival which will be held on October 5.
