Local Residents Compete in Arkansas State Championship Horse Show
The 56th annual Arkansas State Championship Horse Show was held on August 30 until September 2 at Barton Coliseum in Little Rock. Twelve associations sent contestants from across the state to compete in this four day event.
The top five competitors in each of the 40+ classes make up for nearly 2400 entries. Several local competitors were present at the 2019 Arkansas State Championship Horseshow. These local riders are members of the SouthArk Riding Club, which hosts shows in Hampton, Camden, and Magnolia. Members participated in horse shows throughout the spring and summer. The top five competitors in each event were invited to participate in the Arkansas State Championship Horse Show.
