Approximately 75 people attended the Martin Luther King Day program held Monday afternoon at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Hampton, where Bishop Steven Paylor is pastor.
Guest speaker was Bishop John Daniel of First Baptist Hampton, 8th St., who urged the audience--which included more than a dozen students--to keep Dr. King’s dream alive by continuing to educate themselves and fighting for equality.
