The State of the Union is Strong

Representative Report

The U.S. Constitution requires that the president give a State of the Union address “from time to time,” in order to inform the American people on national matters. Th is address has become an annual tradition, and it’s always a big night on Capitol Hill as we hear directly from the president on the year behind us and what’s to come.

If you watched President Trump’s speech this year, you’ll have heard his update on the economy, jobs, trade and more. There’s no doubt the American economy is thriving – in fact, the January jobs report was just released and showed that private sector employment increased by 225,000 jobs from December to January. Regardless of what side of the aisle you fall on, this is fantastic news for our country.
