Thornton Receives Grant From Blue and You Foundation

The city of Thornton received a $27,772 grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Blue and You Foundation. The grant will go towards the Jaws of Life Program in Thornton. The program will purchase Jaws of Life to provide volunteer firefighters with the proper equipment to extract people from accidents.
