MAGNOLIA, AR (01/12/2021)-- Students earned undergraduate and graduate degrees at Southern Arkansas University’s Fall Commencement ceremony held on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
The Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission announces its 2021 MLK Day of Service, King Holiday Day of Impact. “Recycle Bikes for Kids” is an organization in Little Rock that collects old bikes from donors and gives them to those in need. Volunteers fix them up and gives bicycles away for free. They give away 2,000 bicycles a year. Last year they donated bikes to nine counties in Arkansas.

Driving through Hampton or going down Sixth Street, you may notice a small building selling fireworks during the New Years or July 4th holidays. Hampton First Assembly of God runs the fireworks stand during the holidays. This time, you can enter a drawing to win this $250 fireworks package when you purchase a certain amount of fireworks.
The final meeting of the Hampton City Council of the happened on December 21. The conversation turned to the previous meeting’s tabled topics of horses, dogs, and houses.
