Vehicle Crash at Intersection

A vehicle crash occurred at the four way stop in Hampton on Thursday night involving two tractor trailers. One of the drivers, Dieudone Nshimiyimana, told Hampton police he was traveling east on Highway 278 heading towards Monticello. The driver did not notice the intersection four way stop.

Hampton School Board members broke ground with Ouachita Electric and Today’s Power, Inc. The five-acre solar farm will be installed behind the school in a vacant lot.

LITTLE ROCK & HAMPTON, ARK –Hampton School District groundbreaking in partnership with North Little Rock’s Today’s Power, Inc. to announce the school district’s new Solar project. The solar project will encompass 5 acres of land and will be owned and operated by Today’s Power. All energy generated by the array will be sold under a 20-year Solar Power Services Agreement (SPSA) to the Hampton School District.

Virtual Friday’s Announced for Hampton Students

For students at Hampton, Fridays at school will be going virtual starting October 30. Students will still be allowed on campus, but they will be assigned to a paraprofessional or other staff member so classroom teachers receive the time needed to support both virtual and on-site students. There will not be new materials taught on Fridays.
