LITTLE ROCK, AR & ST. PETERSBERG, FL- Florida-based aerospace and defense corporation, General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS), announced earlier this year a partnership with Today’s Power, Inc. (TPI) of North Little Rock, Arkansas, to develop two solar arrays at their facilities based in Calhoun County, Arkansas.

It’s All About the Money

$506,000 is what Calhoun county could be eligible for in funds for relief from the coronavirus. Ordinance 202- 30 sets up a separate fund so the state will be able to track the monies alloted. The county has $47,000 ready to be approved. The money is to be spent by any department with aide for the virus situation. The Quorum Court approved three other ordinances related to budget issues and grants. The full text can be found on page 8.

Trick or Treating will be allowed in the City of Hampton on Halloween from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Please make sure that the porch light is on before approaching the house. Vehicle Crash at Intersection

A vehicle crash occurred at the four way stop in Hampton on Thursday night involving two tractor trailers. One of the drivers, Dieudone Nshimiyimana, told Hampton police he was traveling east on Highway 278 heading towards Monticello. The driver did not notice the intersection four way stop.
