Benny Rayford Williams,

devoted husband,

father, and grandfather, lover of the Lord, and remodeler extraordinaire passed at Shannondale Healthcare Center surrounded by devoted family on April 12, 2019. Benny was born on November 10, 1940 to the late Orion and Mattie Williams in Calhoun County Arkansas and was graduate of Hampton High School. Benny is survived by: his wife of 57 years Gennell Spry Williams; two children, Tanya Rains (Ken) of Knoxville, TN and Stan Williams (Michelle) of Natchitoches, LA; 6 grandchildren Jordan Rains and his wife Katie, Ashton Rains, Anna Williams, Abigail Williams and Ryne Williams; and one brother, Wayne Williams of Th ornton, AR. He will be greatly missed by cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Benny was a loyal employee for Con Agra Foods right out of high school until his retirement in 2000. He was a faithful member of Oasis of Love Fellowship church for 40 years serving as deacon, board member, and Sunday School Superintendent. He was always lovingly referred to as “pastor’s right hand man”. Benny was an incredible master builder and was known for his knack for finding a remodel opportunity anywhere he looked. You wouldn’t have to look too hard to see him sketching his ideas on a napkin or paper plate before making it a reality. He was a hard worker with a sacrifi cial attitude, always giving his all to help someone in need. He will be greatly missed by his family and his absence will remain ever-present. To commemorate Benny’s legacy, a Celebration of Life service will be held at the Oasis of Love Fellowship in Natchitoches, LA at 7pm on April 22nd.
