Billy Joe Williams

89, passed away at Family Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas on November 26, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.

He was born on March 11, 1930. His parents are the late Fred Williams and Leuna Mulligan. He is survived by his wife, Margie Sue Thompson. They were married on June 26, 1953 in Harrell. Williams worked as an oil field services drives, rancher and refinery worker. He is also survived by his son Gary (Terry) Williams of Goddard, KS; Daughter Gayla (Will) Williams of Goddard, KS. He has four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral was held at Florence Christian Church in Florence, KS. Chaplain John Hull officiated. Interment was at Cedar Point Cemetery, Cedar Point, KS. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Newton, KS and Florence Christian Church in Florence, KS. Yazel-Megli-Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion, KS is in charge of services
