Charles L. Carter

Charles L. Carter 67, of Hampton, Arkansas was born November 3, 1952 and passed away December 23, 2019. He was an incredible man that loved his family dearly and made sure to see them every day.

Charles loved to hunt with his family, as well as attend baseball, softball, and football games. He also loved to cook, grilling on the holidays, and he never missed a card night. He was a great father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend, amongst many other things. Everyone in his presence was treated like family, and his door was always open.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother and father, Relda and Victor Carter; and two nieces, Kimberly Donahoe and Brandy Laws.

To cherish his memories, Charles leaves: two daughters, Jamie Hannegan and Wendy Holloway of Hampton; four grandchildren, Christin Thomason, Dylan Thomason, Carlee Hannegan, and Brayden Holloway of Hampton; one great-grandchild, Olivia Baker of Hampton; two sisters, LaNell Parker and Betty Lou Laws; one brother, Victor Lee Carter; a son in law, Sid Holloway; nieces and nephews; cousins; and many close friends.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Higgs officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery.

The family would like to thank everyone for coming to celebrate the life of a wonderful soul. Thank you for prayers, texts, calls, food and love.
