Dorothy Sindle Gilbert

Dorothy Sindle Gilbert 93 of Little Rock, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born January 23, 1926 in Tinsman, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Sally Sindle; husband, Leroy Gilbert; one daughter, Susan West; six brothers, Audie Sindle, Virgil Sindle, Waylon Sindle, Travis Sindle, Lindberg Sindle, and Joe Sindle; and two sisters, Ludie Scott and Madeline Gilbert. She is survived by two sons, Randy Gilbert of Little Rock, and Scott (Kim) Gilbert of Little Rock; one daughter, Vickie (Mike) Turchi of Pine Bluff ; four grandchildren, LeAnn Saffold of Pine Bluff , Michael Turchi of Alexander, Hannah Kate Cain of Little Rock, and Hayden Gilbert of Little Rock. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Saturday at Union Grove Cemetery in Hampton with Father Warren Harvey offi ciating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
