Johnny Mack Ellis

Johnny Mack Ellis, 80 of Hampton, died Sunday, November 12, 2017. He was born July 23, 1937 in Woodberry to the late John and Lucy Hines Ellis. He was also preceded in death by his step-son Dennis Haynes. He is survived by his wife Emma Ellis of Hampton; two sons, Billy Ellis of Monticello and Stevie Ellis and wife Lori of Woodberry; one step-daughter, Cindy Fernandez and husband Aaron of El Dorado; one daughter-in-law Terri Haynes of Hampton; one brother Jimmy Ellis and wife Sheila of Sherwood; three sisters Joann Austin of Conway, Charlotte Hucks of Dickson, Texas and Janie Abbott of Shreveport, Louisiana; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services are 2PM Wednesday at Woodberry Baptist Church. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Road, El Dorado, Arkansas. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce/ Hampton.
