Maerene Randall

Maerene Randall was born to the late Lee Artis Randall and Carmen Banda Randall on February 5, 1983 in San Antonio, Texas. After both parents’ passing, Maerene, Beatrice, and London moved to Hampton, AR to live with their older brother BJ and family. Gloria also moved to Arkansas to be with them. Maerene attended elementary school at S. H. Gates in San Antonio. Later after moving to Arkansas, Maerene attended Hampton Elementary and Hampton High School in Hampton, Arkansas. Maerene enjoyed her early school years where she easily made friends. She was a happy child and found it easy to get along with her peers and teachers. After moving to Arkansas, she united with the Mount Carmel Missionary Church under the pastorage of the Reverend J.E. Wright. She later moved back to her “beloved” San Antonio Texas, where she continued her education and her deep love for the San Antonio Spurs. In 1998 she met and fell in love with Draper Robinson, Sr. who became her soulmate and eventually her caregiver. They became and remained the best of friends. Maerene leaves to cherish fond memories her adopted mother, Lillie Randall of Hampton, Arkansas, husband, Draper and two precious sons: Glen Derrick Miller Jr, Draper Robinson Jr of and mother in law Sandra Robinson. Eight siblings: Neater Sumler of Houston, Texas, Irene Randall and Betty Randall (Marlin) Johnson, of San Antonio, Texas; Arthur (JoAnn) Randall of Houston, Texas, London (Tiffany) Randall of Hampton, Arkansas, Beatrice (De Quinton) Randall of San Antonio, Texas, Tenia Jackson of Hampton, Arkansas and Gwendolyn Owens of California. One “special” niece, Gloria Pickett (Marcus), who was always like a sister and was always there for her and Calvin Williams II (Darius) who was like a little brother. Three adopted siblings: Shandra Randall and Josephine Harris of Hampton, Arkansas and Brenton Randall (commonly called “Bro”) (Tiffany) of Houston, Texas. Two brothers B.J. Randall of Hampton, Arkansas and James Lee Randall preceded her in death. Maternal and paternal grandparents also preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her aunts: Christina Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas, Mildred Randall Wayne and Rose Smith both of Camden, Arkansas; One great aunt, Beatrice Banda of San Antonio, Texas. Uncles: Henry, Jessie, Marcelino, and Arturo Banda all of San Antonio, Larry Randall of Camden, Arkansas. A best friend, Natasha Miller; Three special loving friends: Tracy Conaway, Tracy Miller and Daphne Crumedy all of San Antonio, Texas; A special cousin, Alfred Morris of San Antonio, Texas. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
