Mason Cole Sims

Mason Cole Sims of Conway passed away on June 11, 2017. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 29, 1992. He is survived by his parents, Christopher Sims and Karen Beller of Batesville and Wendy and James Brookshire of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters Bailey Troutman and Hannah Buchman; brother, Ren Sims; grandfathers Eddie Harrell and Rodger Smith; and grandmothers Suzan Baker and Mildred Smith. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Diannia Harrell. Mason participated in ROTC and Track and Field in high school and was an offi cer in the Geography Club at The University of Central Arkansas. He was an avid reader and excelled at many multiplayer online role-playing games such as League of Legends and World of Warcraft. Mason made it known that he wanted to be an organ donor and many people were recipients of that gift. Memorials may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, or an animal shelter or charity of your choice.
