Rick Wells,

66 of Thornton, died Friday, January 10, 2020. He was born October 8, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Jack Wells and Mary Lou Booth Wells.

Rick made friends everywhere he went. He worked many years for Georgia Pacific, in farming and for Arkansas DOT. He was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning a cattle farm. Rick enjoyed all things Razorbacks, visiting with friends and family, daily talks with his kids and pestering his sister.

Rick is survived by his wife Rhonda Wells of Thornton; his daughter Rebekah (Lea) Wells of Lubbock, Texas; his son John Daniel (Tiffany) Wells of Lamesa, Texas; his sister Jeannie Lou (Larry) Brewer of Hot Springs; the light of his life, his grandson Cooper Gunnell of Lubbock, Texas; and a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held Monday at 2PM at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
