Robert (Bob) Morgan Baker, Sr.
Robert (Bob) Morgan Baker, Sr., age 94, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, April 9, 2020 in a local nursing home.
He was born October 24, 1925 in Earlville, New York. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a retired Forester with the United State Forest Service. He was a loyal member of the United Methodist Church, and most recently a member of Nashville, Arkansas First United Methodist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel and his brother, Edward Baker.
Bob is survived by his sister, Marion Lawrence of Herkimer, New York; son, Robert Morgan Baker, Jr. (Deborah) of Harrell, Arkansas; daughter, Barbara Wiser (Mike) of Saratoga, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Derek Kelly (Hallie) of Memphis, Tennessee, Haila Hill (George) of Honolulu, Hawaii, Tisha Mills (Matt) of Benton, Arkansas, Robert (Trae) Morgan Baker III (Trish) of Monticello, Arkansas, Felicia Baker-Akers of Hampton, Arkansas, Laura Floyd (Brandon) of Harrell, Arkansas, Shaun Carter formerly of Harrell, Arkansas; and seven great-grandchildren, Lylah Hill, Muriel Kelly, Anabel Kelly, Kennedy Mills, Erik Akers, Morgan Ogden, and Wesley Ogden.

Graveside services will be held in Marietta, Georgia at a later date. He will be laid to rest with his wife, Muriel.
