Sarah “Jane” Russell

Sarah “Jane” Russell age 79 of Hampton died Monday, February 24, 2020 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born May 3, 1940 in Tinsman, Arkansas. Jane was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Hampton. She loved cooking, quilting, fishing, playing games, and most of all, spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, William T. O’Mary and Vaudie McWhirter O’Mary; husband, Johnny S. Russell; one sister, Patricia O’Mary; and four brothers, Franklin O’Mary, Roy O’Mary, H.P. O’Mary and George O’Mary. Jane is survived by one son, Owen (Donna Sue) Rowland of Bearden; one daughter, Janice (Randy) Lindsey of Bearden; one sister, Lucy Rowland of El Dorado; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday at First Baptist Church in Bearden with Rev. Adam O’Mary officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Ground Cemetery near Hampton.
