Brooklin Marie Hinkle 32 of Hampton, formerly of Mena died Friday July 23, 2021 at El Dorado. She was born October 26, 1988 at Mena. She was an Army veteran, serving in Iraq.
Imogene “Jean” Porter Summers, 89 of East Camden, died Saturday, July 24th in El Dorado. She was born June 27, 1932 in Hampton to the late Roy Amos Porter and Anna Jewel Tomlinson Porter. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Lewis Summers.
Winnie Byrd Bastien age 53, of Hampton, AR died Monday, July 12 th 2021 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, AR. She was born Tuesday, October 17 th 1967 in Warren, AR a daughter of the late Willie Byrd and Mary Joyce Stuard Byrd. She was employed with Esterline Defense Technologies in East Camden, AR. She attended Hermitage Public Schools and was a Baptist. She was also proceeded in death her brother and sister Floyd Byrd and Brenda Joyce Greer.
On Sunday night, July 11, 2021, O.B. Johnston peacefully moved from this earthly life to life eternal at Somerset Senior Living at Pine Hills in Camden, AR. The only son of Oscar Britton Johnston and Birdie Watson Johnston. He was born August 26, 1934 in Hampton, AR. He made his home in Hampton until he married Carolyn Williams. O.B. and Carolyn moved to Pine Bluff where they raised sons, Marc and Jim. O.B. retired from International Paper Company in Pine Bluff, AR.
Sallie Marie Vines Jones, 95 of Fordyce, died Sunday July 11th, 2021. She was born August 19, 1925 in Spruce Pine, Alabama to the late John Thomas Vines and Mary Etta Estes Vines. She is also preceded in death by her husband James Horace Jones, step-mother Lizzie Bowkin, Daughter Linda Marie Jones, son James Gary Jones, sister Maranda Gertrude Vines Berry, and her brothers Jewel Leon Vines, William Frazier Vines, Lans Laneve Vines. Sallie was a seamstress and a homemaker. She is survived by her son Roger Dale Jones of Hampton, two daughters W. Gail Trudell and husband Jimmy of Fordyce and Nancy K. Arnold of Camden; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
