Catherine Lucille Smith, 82 of Camden died Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. She was born April 6, 1938 in Warren, Arkansas. She was retired owner/operator of Smith Hotel in Hampton and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hampton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Franklin and Lena Mae Johnson; and husband, Travis Smith. She is survived by one son, Mark E. (Angie) Smith of Bismarck; one daughter, Debbie (Ricky) Murphy of Spearsville, LA; one sister, Sally Kelly of Hampton; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Agnes L. Newton, 92, of Hampton died Wednesday, May 6th 2020 at the Belle View Nursing and Rehab Center in Monticello. Born February 17, 1928 in Calhoun County, she was daughter of the late Thomas E. and Mattie Hines Little. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hampton and a retired teacher’s aid from the Hampton School District.
The Honorable Dorothy M. (Medlock) Ware was born the eleventh child of eleven Children on June 12, 1940 to the late Joe and Ella Medlock.
