Betty Jane McDuffie Dunn, 90, of Hampton, died Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at The Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Magnolia. She was born July 12, 1930, to the late James Allen and Nettie Jane Adams McDuffie in Bradley County and graduated from Hampton High School. She married Rev. Horace J. Dunn on June 6, 1948, and was a faithful helpmate and ministry partner for 57 years as he pastored churches across south Arkansas. Her personal ministry focused on children, and she led a countless number of individuals to Christ throughout her life. Even in assisted living, she was faithful to share Jesus with those around her. She was a member of Brister Baptist Church at Emerson.

Valarie Ann Wisinger Wedgeworth Ritchey, age 64 of Hampton died Sunday, July 5, 2020 at her home. She was born August 27, 1955 in Monticello, Arkansas. She was a retired L.P.N. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Erastus Wisinger and Willie Mae Boyd Pyle; one sister, Shirley Chelette; and four brothers, Sammy Crews, Johnny Crews, Melvin Benson, and David Fambrough. She is survived by her husband, Ray Wedgeworth of Hampton; one son, Daniel Ray Wedgeworth of AZ; one brother, James Lloyd Wisinger of Louann; one sister, Donna Dumas and husband Johnny of Hamburg; and one grandchild, Amber Wedgeworth. Mary Ann Burson, 86 of Hampton died Saturday, June 27, 2020. She was born October 8, 1933 in Harrell, Arkansas to the late Horace Ivy and Georgie Ginn Ivy Primm. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Lloyd Kenith Burson, SR., her grandson Jason Lee Oliver, and four brothers: Ginn, Buddy, Thomas, and John Ivy.
