Jr. Bulldogs Win Conference

The Bullpups went undefeated, for the 2016- 2017 basketball season, by handing Dermott a loss in the Hampton gym last Thursday night. They, also, secured the number one seed in The Conference Tournament that was played in Hampton.

The Junior Rams made a battle of the game for three quarters and had the lead at the end of one. Hampton scored 7 points in the second, giving up only 4 and had a one point lead. Dermott was up by three to start the fourth by three points, 30 t0o27. The Pups didn’t just take command, in the fourth, they blew the Rams away. They held Dermott to 4 points, again, and put up 18 to take a 45 to 34 win.

The Bullpups were 10 of 17 from the foul line. Jahaad Junior netted 20 points, Jalen Jones 14, JaQues Cross 6 and Dontarius Ware had 1.
