Who Won the Election

Editorial

Despite the rhetoric of why one side lost or won the election. The citizens of the United States of America ultimately won the election. An election was held and a winner announced. The democratic process of electing representatives to represent the people was achieved.

Now we move forward for another four years. There will be things done that won't please everyone. Just as there were things done over the past four years that didn't make people happy. We get to vote and express our thoughts in a civil organized way, an election.

Though we often have differences of opinions and beliefs, we still must live with one another and sometimes those differences bleed over into family gatherings.

Thanksgiving and Christmas is a great time to get with family and friends and eat meals and catch up on the past year's activities. Babies, weddings, deaths and other life significant events are always good to talk about. Global warming and the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East are not topics of good conversation, nor is the election. Unless, everyone agrees with your view.
