Hampton Baseball Opens Up With New Regulations

Baseball is opening back up in Hampton, but with new regulations. Baseball practice has started, but there will be no games.

Hampton Superintendent Jimmy Cunningham announced his resignation on Tuesday to retire. There is no replacement at the time of this publication.

Calhoun County Library to Host Virtual Summer Reading Program

Since we won’t be able to host our usual in-person summer reading activities this year, Calhoun County Library will be providing a takehome and virtual Summer Reading Program.


With the country slowly opening up again, things will be different for the time being. It won’t last forever and I believe we’ll be back to normal again soon.
