Break-In at Harrell Post Office, Ongoing Investigation

A break-in occurred at the post office in Harrell. Pictured left is the result of the door being kicked in. The door was boarded up (pictured right).

On September 13, 2020, Chief Deputy Andy Carter was dispatched to the Harrell Post Office in reference to a break in. On arrival, Carter spoke to Lindy Stivers who works at the Post Office.

Warrant Leads to Drug Arrest

On Tuesday September 8, 2020 the Calhoun County Sheriff Office along with the 13th Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Calhoun 72.

The Hampton School District appointed Jana Young as the district’s point of contact for COVID related cases or probable close contact.
