A wreck occurred at the traffic stoplight in downtown Hampton on Tuesday. James B. Johnson ran a red light and his Jeep Cherokee was hit by an 18-wheeler. Hampton High School started a two hour ACT Prep and tutoring after school on Tuesday for interested 9th - 12th graders.
The Hampton School Board hired two teachers for the 2019-2020 school year. Chris Morphis will be hired as P.E. coach. Zach Anders will teach 3rd/4th grade math and science at Hampton Elementary.
