The 2020 version of the Hampton Bulldogs won’t win any beauty contests this season but they sure are beginning to get some looks after beating Cross County 32-26 in Cherry Valley last Friday night.

Residents Speak Out Against City Council

The Hampton City Council listened to concerns from the Hampton residents.

Many Hampton residents attended the Hampton City Council to voice concerns. The city council meeting was held at the Calhoun County Nutrition Center in order to maintain social distancing.


With Thanksgiving next week, it’s hard to think what to be thankful with the way 2020 has been. We’ve been dealing with COVID, elections, and who knows what else.

For 47 plus minutes the Hampton Bulldogs stood toe to toe in the middle of the ring with the Junction City Dragons.

The Hampton Bulldogs put up a good fight against 4A Star City last Friday night but in the end the Bulldogs from Lincoln County had too much depth and power to overcome.
