New Superintendent Hopes to be Involved in Community

“I want to be visible, I want to be approachable,” said new superintendent Doug Worley.

Worley was hired as the new superintendent for the Hampton School District on July 1.

According to the Arkansas Department of Health, Calhoun County has two confirmed positive cases. One of the positive cases was not tested at Cabun Rural Health Services in Hampton.

Downtown Stoplight Turns to Four-Way Stop

Starting on Tuesday, July 14, the stoplight in Hampton will become a Four-Way stop due to upcoming highway construction.
