When you make a mistake, you can fix it and move forward, if it is not too late to fix. You can own up to it and bear the consequences, if it can't be fixed. You can blame someone else and hope it gets fixed. Or, you can just ignore it and hopes is just goes away. I like to fix it, quickly, and hope nobody noticed.
No one likes to make mistakes and no one is eager to take the blame. But mistakes happen everyday by everyone. A mistake might be forgetting to take the trash out or not doing the dishes. A mistake could be not paying a bill on time or missing an appointment. Different mistakes have different consequences. Most mistakes can be fixed or are not life altering such and can be ignored, forgiven and forgotten.
Some mistakes are only revealed after a season of time and is too late to return it or fix the mistake. It is important, no, very important, no I would say extremely important to learn from our mistakes. We will make them. Own them and learn not to make the same mistake over and over again.
