On Saturday, August 16, 2025, the Calhoun County Museum partnered with the Chambersville Fire Department to host the August piece of the year-long 175th Birthday of Calhoun County celebration. The biggest event so far, with approximately 115 people in attendance as the Fire Department and Chambersville residents treated everyone to hamburgers, hot dogs, and quite an array of dessert offerings. After lunch and visiting, Lynn Rothwell gave a presentation about the history of the area that was full of facts and fun stories. The whole presentation will be available soon on the Museum’s website for those who were unable to attend. The Museum would especially like to thank all the Chambersville 175th Birthday Committee members who put together this incredible event. Be on the lookout for announcements about the events coming up this fall to continue our celebration of 175 years of Calhoun County!
