The Hampton football team scored well against both the Junior and Senior high teams.
The Senior high team came away with a 38-0 win. Some highlights include: DJ Clarke for 98 yards and 3 TD’s; Deondre Smith had 3 carries for 56 yards; DQuanta Miller had 3 carries for 31 yards; Aden Williams had 3 for 53 yards (52 yard rushing TD); Keegan jones had 3 for 31 yards; Braiden Giraud had 2 receptions for 44 yards and a TD; Dre Clarke had 1 for 23 yards and a TD; Tre Lambert had 1 for 16 yards and a TD.
The total offense stats include 19 rushes for 197 yards, 98 yards in the air for a total of 295 yards. 4/4 on 2 pt conversions. All 4 were rushes for DJ Clarke.
The defense looked like this: Keegan Jones 7 tackles (6 solo) 1 sack, 4 TFL’s; Aden Williams had 5 tackles; Jayden Thomas 5 tackles; Braiden Giraud had 4 tackles and a PD; Eli chandler had 3 tackles; Deondre smith and Dre Clarke both added an interception.
The Junior high team also won against Parkers Chapel with the final score 28-16.
