Thanks to a grant from the Arkansas State Library and the generosity of a Hampton community member and library supporter, Hampton is now home to its first Little Free Library! Located at 249 6th Street, the Little Free Library is home to a constantly shifting collection of free books that can belong to anyone in the community who wants them. If you have books you no longer need, feel free to place them in the box for others to read! We hope that this will be the first of several such resources in the county that will connect readers with exciting books that need homes. The Little Free Library contains a variety of materials including Christian fiction, picture books, nonfiction, and more, and is chartered with the national Little Free Library organization. We are so grateful to the Frodin family for their support in this project. If you would like to explore having a Little Free Library on your property, please get in touch!

Lily Stevens cuts the ribbon to officially open the Little Free Library.

Edwards Coston, Lettie Gosselink, and Kayce Jo Gober choose new-to-them books.
