Too Much Information

FaceBook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, X(Twitter), and some you've not heard of yet are all sources of information people access everyday (or hourly) to keep up with the news or gossip going around. Add to that the feeds on the Google page and Bing search engine and you have just about all the information you can deal with in a day.

As a matter of fact, it's actually too much information. Every bite we process we internalize and decide how to deal with it. It is true, factual, fake, hyperbole, satiric or what? If it's personal and close to home we decide to respond or get upset, or maybe excited. Then there are the multitudes of video clips that have no intrinsic value whatsoever and distract from the task initially logged on for. Oh, and the ads, we cannot forget the too many ads that overwhelm the space with stuff you thought only you knew you were searching for. Isn't it amazing how the internet knows you ever need? All that said and I almost forgot to say what I started out to say...

The amount of news that could be impactful, severely impactful, on the world, the economy or the future peace of the world may truly be missed by the onslaught of all the other information on the screen. There has been some significant events over the last few weeks that hasn't seem to make the major news stories that very well could impact global stability. But I now have run out of room...
