The October meeting for Hampton City Council was held on Tuesday, October 14. Minutes of this meeting included continued debate over new ATV laws in the City. This issue has been tabled for November's meeting. Along with that the council discussed city water repairs, money transfers, and nuisance dogs. Calhoun County will be celebrating it's 175th birthday on December 6 at the courthouse. This will begin at 2 and last until dark. For a final hoorah there will be a firework show at the fairbarn.
