It is my opinion that we have been deceived, that is lied to, for years. Whichever political party you side with the odds are that what they say is not what they mean. What they mean is 'Elect Me, Again and Again and Again.'
Most of the elected officials in congress have forgotten, or never understood, what it means to actually go to work. They have forgotten the loss of one paycheck lost can be devastating to the average person.
Did you know that Congress still gets paid during the shutdown?! If they didn't get a paycheck, I wonder how long some of them would last. But wait, they have supporters and lobbyists giving them whatever they want so they can get whatever they want.
The deception is that they care about the workers or the people with little or no income. The deception is they care about health care costs when it only benefits the insurance companies.
Pay attention to deception.
