Samaritan's Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since 1993, more than 232 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox.
In October, the Lion's Club listened to a presentation given by Operation Christmas Child shoebox representatives. Lion's Club members voted to participate with a goal of packing 10 boxes.
On Tuesday, the Lion's Club met for their regular meeting and exceeded their goal by packing a total of 19 shoeboxes.
