On Tuesday, the Lions Club presented the Farm Family of the Year from both this year and last year with plaques commemorating their achievement. Jeremy Martin, 2024 recipient, raises chickens on his multi-generational farm in the Harrell area. The Gresham family, represented here by Keith Gresham and his mother Betty Joyce, were also inducted into the Arkansas Century Farm Program this year. The Gresham’s have been farming the same piece of land in the Chambersville area continuously since approximately 1919, according to Keith. The plaques were presented by Lions Club President Lillie Randall. Congratulations to these two Calhoun County Farm Families!
