Bart Gregory moved from Monticello to Hampton last year. He did several paint jobs in Hampton before moving to Texas to finish his game and send it to manufacturing, set up on Wednesday at the Bandit's Cave to share his new board game, 'Trophy Big Buck Class'. The exhilarating game, which combines competition with valuable hunting lessons, has been a labor of love for Greg for over 20 years. 'Time spent at the hunting camp meant a lot to me—friends and families coming together, sharing stories by the fire,' explained Gregory. 'I wanted to create something that would capture that essence and bring people together.'
His passion for the great outdoors and cherished memories of time spent hunting with family have culminated in the launch of an innovative board game: the Trophy Big Buck Classic. With this vision in mind, he formed KMK Production LLC, named after his three children: daughter Kaylee, son Mack, and youngest son Konnor. The Trophy Big Buck Classic invites players to embark on a thrilling journey to see who can snag the biggest buck, all while fostering bonds among friends and family.
Despite having spent the last 20 years perfecting this game, Gregory remained patient, eagerly watching others enjoy it and changing things along the way. 'I've been through seven prototypes,' he shared with a chuckle. Last year, several Hampton residents and students played the game and shared feedback that helped improve it. Bart shared that he always 'Enjoys everyone's smiles, laughter, and even the frowns as people played, but their feedback was invaluable—everyone rated it a solid ten!'
With around 100 players testing the game, the buzz surrounding the Trophy Big Buck Classic has only intensified. Bart, along with his mom, Kay Gregory, and daughter, Kaylee Gregory, has meticulously set up the business side of things, ensuring everything is in place for a successful launch. Collaborating with talented graphic designer, Veronica Campbell, and his fantastic team, he is fueled by excitement and optimism to share his game.
'It was an answered prayer to get the game in before Christmas,' Bart added. He wanted everyone to know, 'the support from people believing in my dream has been very appreciated'.
Gregory's dedication to crafting the perfect game continues to shine. The Trophy Big Buck Classic isn't just a board game; it's a celebration of family, friendship, and the great outdoors—bringing a piece of the hunting camp experience into homes everywhere, along with Papa Jerry’s Hunting Secrets that teach as players deal with all the adventures that happen as one is trying to harvest the biggest deer to win the Trophy Big Buck Classic game.
'Get ready to roll the dice and make memories with your own trophy big buck moments!'
