Starting a new year gives us an opportunity for do-overs. Often we want to just forget about the past and move on. However, forgetting the past is not the answer.
Remembering the past is the key to improving the future. It is easy to repeat past mistakes. Remember and learn from the past. Change comes from remembering what you did before and not repeat the unpleasant outcome.
Most effective in improving your future is not to forget the past (history) but to forgive it.
