The Hampton FFA and Agriculture students had the opportunity to put their skills to work this week by building a handicap accessible ramp for a member of our community.
Our students measured, planned, cut lumber, and assembled the ramp to make sure it was safe, sturdy, and accessible. Projects like this allow our students to apply the skills they learn in the ag shop while also serving others.
Agricultural Education is about more than what happens in the classroom. It’s about developing leadership, building skills, and serving our community. We are proud of these students for stepping up and using their abilities to make a difference.
